Major Pediatric and Adult Sleep Disorders:

   Bed Wetting                                                 Sleep Apnea
   Excessive Daytime Sleepiness               Sleep Talking
   Insomnia                                                      Sleep or Night Terrors/Nightmares
   Narcolepsy                                                   Sleep Walking
Restless Legs Syndrome                         Teeth Grinding (Bruxism)

You should know about the sleep disorders above if either you or your child/teen exhibit any of the Red Flags of a Sleep Disorder.

Pediatric sleep specialists estimate that 20-25% of all children and adolescents have a correctable sleep disorder occurring some time between 2 - 18 years of age.  Approximately 15% of all teens and children's sleep disorders will not disappear without some type of medical treatment or behavioral interventions.  Many of these sleep disorders in children and teens need to be corrected as soon as possible, because they impair students' school performance and behavioral and emotional self-control.  As people reach adulthood, many of these sleep disorders become more severe and do more harm to health, daytime performance, and safety.

YOU CAN FIND OUT if your child/teen may have one of the most common pediatric sleep disorders and how to successfully correct it. Click onto "Screening by Parent," and within 5-to-10 minutes you will know if your child is a normal sleeper or at "Moderate" or "High Risk" for having Sleep Apnea, Narcolepsy, Restless Legs Syndrome, Periodic Limb Movement Disorder, Insomnia, Excessive Daytime Sleepiness. Also find out what you can do to help your child/teen if s/he has Bed-Wetting, Sleep Terrors, Teeth Grinding, Sleep Talking, or Sleep Walking.  The SDIS report tells parents how to intervene and correct any of the possible sleep disorders their children might have.

If your child has the symptoms of one of the sleep disorders above, screen him with the:
